Saint Vincent's, San Rafael

My last painting of January at Saint Vincent's Church in San Rafael. I meet up with some pals and other North Bay Plein Air Painters, it was a good turn out with about eleven artist. The day started out very gray and heavy fog, as you can see the sun came out and I ended up with a very different painting than when I started.

I still like the direction you headed towards the late afternoon. I overheard lots of good comments from the new artists. The bell tower looks great!

Where's the intricate detail? Haha. Next time, we're painting a meadow. I'm kidding! I really like the way you composed this. But seriously, where is the detail?

Thanks Gerald, this one was a challenge from beginning to end. Jackson, details? Sorry but I was too busy squinting : )
