5 Artist Gathering, Group Show

I am one of five in a group show called "5 Artist Gathering" at Avenue 25 Gallery in San Mateo from July 26th through September 3rd. The reception is this Friday 7/30 from 6 - 9 p.m. If you are in the area, please come on by. You can find the gallery address below on the postcard.

I am mostly exhibiting landscapes and a few figurative works. Below are two landscapes that are in the show.

Self Portrait, Quick Study

It's been awhile since I painted a self portrait. Here is a small quick study in oils 30 minutes.

Point Lobos, SF

Thursday's painting at Point Lobos, San Francisco. It was a very, very breezy day with big wind swells crashing on the rocks which I found very challenging to paint. I did my best to simplify the water shapes and give it some sort of design.

Lands End

Yesterday's painting off the Lands End trail. It sure was a breezy but the sunshine made it pleasant to be out along the coast.
