Last Saturday, I met my class at the Monte Bello space preserve to observe the affects of atmospheric perspective. We were out there for a few hours, here are my two plein air paintings from that day.
Hooray! Finally, after a few months of aggregation, design, revisions and corrections, I have a self published book of selected figure drawings over the last decade from 1999-2009. All the drawings are in chronological order, demonstrating my evolution from academic studies to my current interpretation of the human figure in a contemporary environment. To preview and purchase the book, please click Here. The book is available in softcover for $29.95 and hardcover for $42.95, not including tax and shipping.
To my family and friends: If you live in the Bay Area and want to save a little on tax and shipping, then let me know if you want a copy. I can place a large order and just give it to you the next time I see you.
I love to paint, draw and sculpt the human figure in traditional or digital media. Lately landscape painting has become my new muse.
Thanks for visiting.
